These pictures were taken today after the third oil change. The oil filter on the new lifan 150's are amazing, I've used magnetic oil plugs in the past but these new filters on the lifan's engine are really going to prolong the life of this engine.

If you're thinking on which engine to buy this should be the deciding factor.

there is that much metal in every china engine and a magnetic oil plug won't take it out, that's the whole point of this thread to show you all how much metal is still in an engine even when you run a magnetic oil plug.

LOL no kidding, I do need to wash it!

being a diesel mechanic i see that much metal in trannys and rear ends but but not that in motors thats alot of metal for such a small engine if i had that in my oil on my bike id be worried oh but thats right you said it was a china motor haha jk

this is an example why not to buy a china motor. thats ****ing wack. I have never ever seen that much metal in a oil change in any motor and esp in my honda motor. But I have never owned a china motor.

fawk that. you got something going wrong thats way to much metal. even when I blew my quad motor up I didnt have a 1/16 of that much metal.

Let me clarify, this isn't hunks of metal, it's glitter, just microscopic flakes that is found in every motor, you don't see them because they dump out with the oil and I'm sure you don't run your used oil through a cheese cloth so see them all, simply put this engine filters them out, which in my opinion is nice and will make it last much longer.

I own a honda 125 3-wheeler that I bought new in 1990, I changed the oil in it the other day and I filtered it through a cheese cloth just to see, and guess what? The same metal flecks in a honda engine.

The engine is just fine.
