Foam Pit Ride Day in Okla

This is a notice for the locals that haven’t got the message we are riding this weekend. Sep. 20 & 21. Riders are coming in from TX, MO, KS, and maybe AR. We are having a foam pit work/ride day. A couple hrs of work to repair and upkeep to keep the pit soft and the area clean. After all the work is done we will ride the "NEW" track and jump into the pit. Got the water truck up and running to water if needed. Will have the new “outdoor” style track and I will try to rework the "Vegas" track in the morning.

Also a bar race Sat night at the Weed.

Everyone is invite that will help with some of the work that needs to be done. Should only be a couple hrs of work for a lot of riding afterwards.

Im waiting on Mike to get home so I can load up mine and Roz bikes, then I'm headed to OK. I'll see you guys at the pit!

We had an awesome time. 2 of the Kansas boys pulled off backflips into the pit. Thanks again to Dennis, Roz and Kenny for the invite.

Yea I had a great time. I'm getting my flips dialed. I was stoked I got my first one around perfect! Thanks Kenny , Dennis and Roz for another great weekend! Can't wait to do it again!

Did any one take photos? I never got the camara out of the van to take any pics.

Next time I will water the track more the night before and not listen to JRob about watering. hahaha. I already have some ideas for the track next time.

Yep, Going to start working on my landing this week. Kinda Slow going with a 56 john deere and a blade! But I'll get er' done!

Same here I only got a few pics and vids from the Pit and Kenny hitting the ramp.

So you going to change part of the outdoor track or just prep it more for next time?

I like the idea of a freestyle course for the pit pikes. Kenny was saying something about you guys diggin out the side of the foam pit landing and setting the big FMX ramp up for the pit bikes.

Going to add more dirt to some of the berms, reshape some of the lips, and prep it a lot better. I built the track last min. I’m also cleaning up around the track so I can get the water truck down to the bottom section of the hill so I can water the whole track faster. Looking into adding more length to the track by going into the wood.

Also fixing the old Trick Factory ramp and building the wall ride. Kenny is also working on a big bike SX/Speed & Style track.

Thanks again to Roz, Dennis, and Kenny for having us out there. While my bike runs like ****, I did have a good time. I'm ready to come tear up the outdoor track again, that thing is fun.

Also good seeing everyone again.

When is a good time for the next ride day? Today is the first day of fall so I would like to get one more good ride day in before winter. Maybe try to have a bigger more planed event?

I could bring out a starting gate? Relay race? Buddy race?

Get a "freestyle" area put together?

We got a few pics but I havent had a chance to look thru them to see if there were any good ones.

Also, track maintence isnt my claim to fame. lol

I wanted to come out but just don't make it. Sounds like a missed a good time but any time Big Mike is around it's a good time. Big Mike is the man!!!!

How come you didn't show up Sun? Don't tell me you didn't know because I'm sure everyone at the weed heard about riding sun.
