I'm a huge fastback fan. Great purchase.



Is it an A code or C code motor?



C4 or 3 speed?



I sold my 1965 Mustang GT convertible a couple of years back. A code, factory air, deluxe interior, front power disc brakes, early 5 bolt 289 with the gold valve covers and air cleaner.



Again, great purchase.

Its not an orginal motor or tranny unfortunatly. Right now it has a 302, 4 speed manual. I wish I could of got a K code but those are just dreams. Right now Im looking to dump the front drums and put some disks on there cause its pretty scary trying to stop with those things! :lol:

Everyone wants a K code until they own one and have to set the valve lash due to the solid lifters. Plus, if it was a K code, you would have paid out the nose.



Restomods are way more fun then the bone stock cars, as you'll be more inclined to drive and enjoy it.

SETTING VALVE LASH IS ABOUT AS EASY AS CHANGING YOUR OIL I HAD A SOLID LIFTER CAM IN ONE OF MY MOTORS FOR YEARS OF TROUBLE FREE USE I WOULD CHECK WHEN I WOULD CHANGE THE OIL AND MAYBE 2 OR 3 WOULD NEED ADJUSTING

BUT I AINT TO MUCH OF A FORD FAN BUT I REALLY LIKE THE OLDE MUSTANGS SPECIALLY THAT ONE

Ive always loved the fastbacks. My first car was a 71 boss 351 fastback. Thing spent more time on jackstands than it did on the road but I loved that thing.

I want to make the car into a replica GT350, and about restomods someone I know is taking a 03 Cobra frame, drivetrain, wheels, brakes, and putting a 67 Fastback body on it. Now that would be amazing to drive.
