You're making yourself look bad, not me. A Paypal dispute is the way to work things out and is a more official way to resolve disputes. You sold me what was in the picture, which was completely different than your title and description.
No I didn't completely fail to look at the pictures. The pics are small and not all that detailed. I did fail to realize that it had a black steel cylinder jug that was from a Chinese company, but again, the pics aren't that good. Never once did I think I'd be receiving a steel China jug that isn't even for a Honda motor let alone a Takegawa. Also, can you make out in the pictures that the jug isn't a black Takegawa? or that the piston is domed and not from a S-Stage kit, or any other details from those pictures?
Fact is he said it was a New Takegawa S-Stage kit. I shouldn't even have to look at the pictures to verify if he's lying or not. If he received the parts like that from someone on ebay then he should have taken it up with the seller and not resold it once he realized none of the parts he had will work on a Honda bottom end.
So what you guys are saying is if someone is advertising a full Kitaco 124 built motor for sale @ $1800, and the pics look pretty similar to one and someone buys it, then when they get the motor it turns out to be a China knock-off motor that the purchaser is stuck? You don't think they should raise a red flag and go after the seller? Should it matter that the seller thought it was a Kitaco, but didn't know any better to realize that it wasn't. Seriously, you guys have zero logic.
Rvaillant528, if you're not lying about swapping the parts, then post a link to the ebay sale where you bought the parts. Maybe you are telling the truth about were the parts are from, so prove it. It still doesn't dismiss you reselling bogus parts though.
We both know you had no intentions to work things out with me. You said in your first private message back to me, before I filed the dispute, that "I should have known what I was buying". You say you didn't know, so how should I have known from two tiny pics? I thought I did know from your title and description, which stated it as a New Takegawa S-Stage 88 Kit...
