oven or out in the sun. You can literally put the entire tire on with your hands. doug trip hit that on the money. I also have a space heater for the winter that i just throw my rim and tires in front of before i got to change it.

Like everyone else said dont go into it pist off, you will find a way to pinch it or pop it.

first, dont use wd-40 or honda shine/silicon spray or any harsh cleaners like simple green. Tires dont like the first and last and the silicon spray never dries and lets the tire ALWAYS spin on the rim.

Use Windex (on bead) and ball powder (inside so the tube can move freely), and 3 motion pro tire irons. And when your putting the tire on, after you have the first bead n and the tube in. Turn the irons around backwards so there isnt a sharp tip that could stab the tube and work around slowly (about 2-3" bites) with plenty of lube. It is expensive at first until you get the hang of it.

Any one who has seen me change tires will contest that my little tricks will make you a pro at changing tires.... it just takes some patience and a few mishaps at first.

lube and a good set of tire irons. I have used tire irons that pop the tube no matter what i do it seems. then I use mine and no issues. plus patience. and once you get the tube in add alittle air with soapy water will help keep it out of the way from being pinched.

Exactly what I was going to say, fill it with air slowly so if it is twisted or pinched it will straighten out where if you just go at it you would pop it. I always use a water and dish soap mix and I haven't had a pinch or pop in a long time. Side note, also ditch the rims strips and use electrical tape and put a few good layers.

no joke-throw the tires in the oven at 200 or so degres for 15-20min. the tire will drop right on. works everytime.

^^^^BINGO^^^^!:D I have been doing this for years, just make sure your old lady isn't home. She'll hate the way the house smells:eek::D:D:D:eek:

Also make sure you are getting the bead that's already on the rim situated to the center of the rim so that it's not getting stretched and making it harder to get the other side on the rim. Lots of lube and some elbow grease will do it for you!

I;ve done one set of tires... did them dry and it worked out great for me. But i'll still pay someone to do it.

Shade,

Ask brad to see the stuff I gave him in vegas. You take a chunk of it about a inch wide by how ever long and stick it around the lips of your wheels. Then pull it off once your done. I have been doing this for two years now and have yet to scratch a rim :)

ya, windex is the best that i have found that any normal household would have....it dries dry, wd40 still kinda stays oiley...iv put a tire back on without tools when i used windex.....taking it off though is a different story but it doesnt take much force

Lay the tires out in the sun for a while...use armorall to help slide them over the rim. Try to buy tire irons that have a wider surface area, and just take really small bites. Once the tires are nice and hot, they should slide on fairly easy. I do all of mine, and I never pop the tube or scratch the rim. It takes a lot of practice to get it down, but its well worth it.
