you do have excellent elementary math skills, but indicate the 'plus'.

Do you have pictures? Or do you just like making claims like everyone else? I call bull****, you're too dam old to even think about jumping anything. also I like the 'attempted' there.

with a ramp and landing that big you dont need suspension. i credit the guy but were talking 150ft and under thats not that big of a gap to start out at 50ft and keep moving the ramp back. and im only 20 yrs old and have jumped myself well over 140ft in my lifetime. like i stated previousely its big on a pitbike but i dont see the hairraising fear involved with a 140ft jump thats basically fail safe?

AND p.s. i love to jump no matter how old i am!

oh and um, sorry but those photos are invalid. They could be anybody.

hahaha! your in so cal ill show you the jumps. its funny how you accuse me of not knowing how to jump a motorcycle and although i show you proof you still doubt. two of those are on my property so when i have pm ride day ill point them out to you, will that help?

edit* im the guy on the left with the jump in background,

Alright... AFter examining the video several times, and using a little guestimation I get this:

They claim 54mph.

There are 3 sections in the video that show the jump in full speed and not slo-motion

I timed the jump at approx 1.7 seconds from the lip of the ramp, til landing.

so... IF he slowed to 50 mph by the time he reached the top of that enormous ramp and flew for 1.7 seconds he would have covered 129 -ish feet.

dammit! its a RECORD right?

Records are meant to be broken

Somebody post the distance so that I know where to set my ramp!

I figure with the thinner air up here at 4700 feet, I'll have less wind resistance.

less resistance=more distance

I can do this!

some one tell me where to set my ramp!

I gots me a 10" trail bikes equipped 88!

That's a long ways to jump and anything could go wrong... When you see professionals do what they do they make it look easy.... Which leads the spectators to believe that what they just saw is easy....It never is....

I personally think I could do what was shown on the video but someone would have to put a gun to my head and force me to do it.

Mad props to a crazy dude on a mini-bike!!!!!!!!!!

this thread isnt about me, but when i get accused of not knowing how to operate machinery im going to prove myself. enough on this high maintenence get back to that 130ft MOD 88 jump

yes back to that 130ft jump that you claim you can do on a big bike (which is not really a major thing yes?no?), and dennis just did on an 88. Are you feeling a little schooled ? Cause I sense a little jealousy right now.

nice picture of you sitting on your bike. I can do that too.

Zbbt,

You can walk away now. I'll even tell you that you won the argument so you can sleep better tonight. I can guarantee you that nobody on this forum clicked this topic to see pictures of you jumping like a squid. In fact, if you would remove your posts and walk away like a man, you'd probably look like less of an ass, and maybe assist our sport instead of attempting to single handedly drive it into the ground. Also, your pictures are on a full size moto bike, and if everyone's calculations are correct, Dennis jumped 129 feet or so....How far did you jump? On a big bike nonetheless. If you are interested in coming out to Oklahoma and attempting (Note: Attempting) to jump further than Dennis, I can promise you there will be cameras on site...and your attempt WILL be documented in the next pitbike film. If you're not going to try and support our industry...at least don't try to ruin it.

Have a good day,

Garrett Danz

I know I haven't said it yet, But Props to Mr. Hotson.

It takes a good sized pair to drive off the end of that ramp. I don't care WHAT sized wheels.

Nice Jump

NOw tell us how gawd damned far it was! :)
