Matts old bike is now my new bike. It'll be here on the 20th and then ill start crankin out the previews.

Chet.

Tell me this:

Are the forks plush? As in do they come down real smooth when you pull the front brakes on and you push the bike forward.

What exactly was done to the forks in order to make them longer?

Did you get them extended in order to make the front high enough to run the long travel swingarm?

Do you think if you didn't get the fork legs extended a 12 inch front would make up for the height that your getting in the back?

Would you happen to know why lahaye opted for the 110 shock over the 50 shock?

How does it feel going over really rough terrain if you even know?

What is the differences between the new long travel and the old?

- Dingy , you haven't gotten it yet 8O ?

- chet , How many inches of travel does the front forks have ?

- :-k It looks like the fork tubes are very short and only allow it to have about 3 or so inches of stroke .

haha alrite here we go guys 8)

5.5 inches of travel up front

lahaye has custom done these ones.. im not sure of everything but heres what i know

the bike sits even btw look at the stand the front wheel is nearly on the ground and the back is higher in the air so it makes it look funny

but its 5.5 inches of travel... its got 30 percent stiffer springs but im not sure of the wt of hte oil

yes the travel is smooth.... the clamp is a one of a kind custom clamp by lahaye instead of hte usual clamp on clamp that people use for hte polini paioli forks.... i like these forks... adn they were for sale because i needed money but no one bought them so i jst kept them.... this is over a 1000 doller fork setup so it better work in all kinds of terrain haha.. which they do....

the reason for the 110 over 50 shoc kis......look at it lol.. look how much beefier it is... this shock is a heavy duty shock and wil hold up under stress a hell of a lot better than a 50 shock would thats maybe an inch wide hahaha....

wel the new compared to the old setup (50 shock setup) is that this features the 110 shock....completely new design on swingerm and tower... waaay stronger....im not sure how many inches of travel are in the rear or even how to measure that.. all i know is its 17 inches from rear tire to plastics... my bike sits basically even but i want a 12 inch rim up front.. so whenever someone buys these forks my next setup is gonna have a 12... if you wanna buy these forks however i know a guy that can get you a 12 for 100 bucks.... soooo let me know

dingy if you have more forks specific questinos pm me.. thanks guys 8)
