im planning on getting a takegawa 178cc motor for my klx110 and i was just wondering if there are any parts i should get so i dont reck the motor.

dood im sorry ive always wondered what is the 4th gear drum? are klx 110's 4 or 3speeds from the factory?

The KLX based engine has 4 gears already in the cases but since Kawasaki didn't want the bike to go 50 mph ( cuz it's a youth bike ) they put a drum in that only allows it to use the first 3 gears.
The KSR ( along with other KLX based engines not sold in this country) comes with the 4 speed drum already installed.
