I recently bought an XR50 with a Trail Bikes 108 kit installed. The bike has a tendency to stall when the throttle is opened from idle, not moving.
The bike has a 20mm Sheng Wey carb. Jetting is main 89, pilot K35, fuel screw 1-1/2 turns, needle JH90A, clip position middle or 3rd from top.
The carb was VERY clean and the install is not very old. I'm not sure if this has always been this way or if it is recent, not much info from the previous owner(s).
Any ideas why the bog? Can I improve this with a jetting change? Larger pilot? Do I need a larger carb?
I will use the bike for trail riding and back yard fun, so I want low RPM torque more so than high RPM revs and HP.
