I was in a rush so I did not get the best pictures ( I want to get it broke-in right away) Firepower354, the crank appears to be a std. lifan/jailing style crank but of course there is no slinger bolted on, only the crank gear as you can see. Hope this helps..

The piston needs to be changed out asap..Fp do you happen to have a cylinder to bore match to one of your akunar 57mm pistons that will slide right in to these cases ?...If not hit up Vince and make him an offer on the clutch case kit and have him send the cylinder to you also (I will pay for the cylinder along with the piston kit/bore for $100)...

Whats the concern with the stock piston? I only have about 10 hours on mine but would like to avoid disaster if possible.

Thanks!

No major concern, it is just not ideal for performance or it's potential compression the piston does not reach the cylinder deck height and the dome peaks almost flush with the deck :(..so with the extra .6mm and the correct deck height (I hope, firepower can you verify that) this motor should do it's job better and faster...

Good news thanks. I'm just using mine as stop gap on the street (lifan stator for lights) while I build something on the bench.

I was suprised how tough mine was to kick; I have been thru 2 cheap kickers but am way pleased so far.

.6mm in the hole is no sweat if you use a thin head gasket.

Exactly...But This Motor RIPs and is the Best out of Box Motor so far Ive ever had....and I hate Lifans...

that Filter looks just like the Ones I use in my Takegawa (Honda Part Number # 15412-HB6-003)

Also, first thing you should do is remove that cheapie cheap looking oil filter and replace it with a honda version. TRX125 from 1986 and newer should be the one.

heres the part Number

I am sorry I have been doing a lot of work on this build and needed the motor installed for intake & exhaust mock up (custom made intake manifold & exhaust for the perimeter frame). But I will get you some more pics asap (no one else has pulled the clutch cover off of their lifan150 ?) the inside of the clutch cover looks just like the other china motors I have, as far as the placement of oil passages.
