started up again on the first kick! he didn't budge on the price....even after i gave him all night to ponder. i rode it around the block and the motor pulls nice. $400 think it's worth it?

here's the only thing wrong with it so far. i'll let ya know more after i pull it apart.

If you plan on building the motor up. I'd suggest you do a very good job inspected the guts.

Where did you get it from? I knew a guy who beat the $hit out of his bike and it was all "camoed"(is that a real word?) out like that.....

yup. camotape with black spray paint underneath. and addict was right= subframe bent and i won't be taking it camping :lol: it's also missing the bolt for the exhaust. i think i did good for $400

shit, wouldnt have given that guy 400 for it. That thing is beat to hell! I woul have given him about 200 or 250 for it. Its in horrible condition. What year is it anyway? Thats just what i think... :| Dont take it the wrong way.

but if you have the money to fix all the problems, then i guess its a good deal! It is a honda, so there is one plus!

it's an 02. and like goin said....it's dirty. that's what makes it look so bad in the pics and i've already started cleaning it up

you figure a new set of plastics which i can get for around $50 off of ebay, i've got a spare bar kit in my garage (minus the throttle and extended brake line/lever), a little tuning on the carb and a bolt for the exhaust and BAM!! i've got a ridable spare fiddy for about $480 +/- a couple of $$.

$400 is a great deal for that bike. Its dirty but once he cleans it up it'll be perfect other than the shifter and the subframe. Its stuiped to pay $1000 and than to replace all those brand new parts with new ones. Now it won't matter.

took this pic about 15 mins ago after a couple hours of work. now tell me it's not worth $400 (bar kit is a spare)

Hell you could probably sell it for $600 and make a couple bucks if you really wanted to.

please tell me it was at least clean when you went to see it....you better hope ot god that he changed the oil atleast once in that poor things life

oh,and my 50 had hte same thing(the chunk out of the ignition cover)

if you let your chain get to lose,everyally the chain will pop if you go to take off quick,pop off the sproket,bounce up and hit that piece and make it fall off....

but i had the piece,and using some adhiesive i found in the garage( :roll: :lol: ) i fixed it

the best tools you can have:

a strong glue

duct tape

and a pair of pliers
