the GPX150 is just flat out a better motor 2start with and the GPX160 is even up a notch above that
"The 150 is flat out a better motor." Over the 140??? Not necessarily. Depends on what the particular rider is after. Some will benefit from all the torque the 140 has. You mentioned the torque yourself. Others will prefer the 150 for it's build capabilities and powerband through the mid range. I don't see any real advantage of the 160 over the other two motors at this time.

The 160 is very much like the 140 , but more of it! alot more, it has the same stroke but larger bore and a bigger flow head. The 160 is a torque monster that when given a little throttle control is also dosile and easy to chug around on.Like you said, depends on the rider.but with all the add ons the 150 has off the self , the 160 will benifit from those too.

You say "put a cam in a 140 and it will keep up with a stock 150". I respond a few mods to the 150 and it is bye bye to the 140 with it's cam and then how do you catch up.

You then say the 150 is flat out better motor. For who? Everyone! I think not. That is why i responded with what I responded. Each motor has it's place. But you and your dad will post anything you can as long as the response is GPX is the best or Pitster is the bike you need. A good dealer will match the customer with the product, not just shove something at them, because it is all they have to offer.

Yes, I Am Really Not That Impressed With The Yx150, The Head Is Ok At Best, (11hp Lol) Now The Yx150 With The +r Head And Some Work And It's Impressive. Now Once The "new" Head Comes Out, It Will Be Interesting What Everyone Is Building.
