I've got this little seal - it's really worn out, and I have no idea where to put it. I think it goes in between the jug and the cases. I need to replace it before i bolt everything back together.

Can anyone atleast find me a part number or verify where this thing is supposed to go??

its your o-ring that goes between oil passages. you need one on the bottom of the cylinder and oone on the top. just order a DrATV OPERATES HERE gasket kit and itll come with two

See, I THOUGHT that it was the little rubber O-Ring that sits in the groove on the jug, but I mean, ****, look at that thing. There is no way in hell it could have started out being an O-Ring.

by the way dave. im not likin gthe nice chunk of metal between your studs. that needs to be bored out so that not even a hair can fit between your bore and studs!

Thats the reason why I'm replacing that POS cylinder. It had so little compression, I could crank the motor by just rolling it in 1st gear.

ALSO - Look at the bore and carbon spray on the deck of the cylinder. Riding this thing was great, there were no mosquitoes or bees for MILES. It smoked like my aunt thelma. Went through about 2 qts of oil per gallon of gas.

Great thing is, as messed up as that motor obviously was, it still ran. Gotta love a Honda.

Haha, I wanted to run the wheels off of it, but I got tired of trying.

I figured it was cheaper spending 20 bucks on a new piston/jug off of ebay than spending 20 bucks in oil that it would have burned in a month.

Needless to say, I rode it wide open even in its dilapidated state, and it never complained.
