I knew it - you guys need to have the guy jumping ziptie a tape to his butt - so we can get a good measurement on this -- 
personally i dont know whether it was 86ft or not - i just knew after the last guy posted about his 85 footer that everyone would need to see a true measurement;-)

I would say that would not surprise me to be 86'!! What no one is taking into consideration is the camera angle, the type of jump, the amount of run in, etc.
As far as the AX finish line being 65', yep that is true!! However, the lip is 12' high, it is right out of berm, and the the takeoff is steep.
I am more impressed with the triple he pulled off myself, building the rythem on the rollers first and then skying it was cool.
Come on guys we all know how it is, some 10' doubles may scare the crap out of you and the 50' table booter doesn't phase you. It is all about circumstances!!!

How fast does a 165bbk x4 go wide open? that is how fast he was going, also as mentioned before ,he was not hitting a ramp take off he was way over jumping a table top so the camera angle looks like he just leaving the face of the jump when he is actually already in the air for a while before he comes into view.If the music were not as loud you would hear the bike is tapped out. i bet there are only a handfull of guys here that will hit jumps tapped out in top gear.Anyone on there way to or from Vegas is more than welcome to give it a try.

Here is Matt (red gear)jumping a 97ft jump on his 450 , also my little brother Sam(green gear). look at the different angles of the camera make the distance look smaller. But the distance stays the same.
