is it possible to have the cam chain to tight ? if so is there a way to adjust ?

also just took the cover off and found a half moon shaped piece of metal stuck on the rotor magnet .

Thanks Brian

That sounds like it would be your woodruff key? Did you take your flywheel off? Never heard of them just popin out...

I'm trying to figure out how you installed a BBK with out backing off the tensioner?

You probrobly broke part of the cam chain guide. Unless you removed the flywheel, there is no way for the key to come out.

i was wondering the same thing. i think it would be very hard to remove the cam gear with all that tension on the chain. Let alone putting it back on.
