a customer of mine needed to pull the vent pipe off or grind a lil off the frame in the back



other than that the new 150/160 motors fit in all 50 type frames



of course you exh needs to be klx110 type
 
I used a crf style 4.1 and it worked for me but you need to tweak it a little and the hole to mount it to the subframe needs to be re drilled. Thats if you already have it i would buy a klx style for sure.
 
The 160 stock would be good, but if you go getting a +R or Cat 5 ported TB head then it may be too much. I have a BVH 140 that was worked over pretty hard by Cat 5 and that thing is damn near unridable on some tracks as it can be hard to control in such a small chassis. The 160 is at least 5lbs. heavier though, so the added weight may make all the difference, my 10" bike only weighs 115lbs!!
