Looking for the best pipe for a 160+R motor. Want a good size head pipe. I was thinkin the fmf 4.1... anyone have any input?

Just knowing what i know about exhausts, i think the CHP looks like it would perform better than anyother. I realize that ppl have "proved" that the FMF makes more power on the dyno, but the CHP is by far my top choice.

I personally think they are one of the best looking pipes on the market. Just my oppinion. But yeah, I'd definattaly go for the chp or even the yoshi ti.reeg50 said:

Can anyone say with certainty that the FMF/CHP/Yosh/etc. actually makes more power than the stock X4 pipe?

Just because you have a large engine doesn't mean you need a big head pipe.
In reality you want a small head pipe to keep up exhaust velocity which will aid in torque and power.
It's the tail section that you want big to create the vacuum affect to create top end.
You'll see..
