Hey!

Any sign of the Thumpstar PROs? Is it 120? 125??? Where's the importer? Is there a dealer / wholesaler in So Cal? Does anyone have one yet in So Cal?

I found a site called BADAZZTOYZ, and that name alone tells me to stay away.

I'm still up in the air wether to go Sikk MX or Thumpstars, I'm gonna be getting two of them, and keeping them for a long time. I know Atom sells the Sikks, but I'd like to see / feel / hear the Thumps myself.

Atom, can you get Thumps? I'd rather buy from you.

HELP!!!

Im pretty sure they are 125cc but I really have no information on them.

I just got some real pics of them and I am trying to load the pics up here for all to see, give me a few and I will try to figure why the wont post. Polini in Fla has them now in stock for sale. You can reach them at (239)566-9666. They just sent me an E-mail with like 21 pic's but I cant seem to get them to load to my harddrive so I can post them here. ](*,) :-k

The following statement is not intended to take anything away form the advertisers on this site. If any advertisers here deal in the aforementioned product please speak up and have this post deleted.

Actually, Chris (owner of badazztoyz) is a really good guy. He is a very active member and advertiser at pocketbikeplanet, a pocketbike forum site. I've dealt with him on parts for my pocketbikes and have had great service. Never read a bad thing about him in that forum. He is held in high regard there and has many, many recommendations. Give him a call and talk to him in person. I don't think you'll regret doing business with him. He started out as a full size bike tuning shop specializing in Banshees then got into pocketbikes in a big way. I beleive he only somewhat recently started dealing in the pitbike market. He may actually be interested in becoming an advertiser here in the future, if he knows about it.

There's a Yamaha dealer here that sells what looks to be a Thumpstar but it carries the brand name of UPC, Ultimate Performance Cycle, the 107 cc version is identical to my Thumpstar 107 cc, but now they have a newer 124 cc version with billit frame, inverted forks,12 inch front wheel, longer skid plate, and no battery or electrick start. Other than that it too is identical to the Thumpstar 107 cc. I know it dosent mean much but when I went to check the fork action (they look way trick blue anodized uppers and ajuster on the top of the right fork leg only) they felt like they were messed up like somthing was grinding on the inside of them? Hopefuly that was just this one patricular bike, but I think this is gonna be the same new Super Thumpster your talking about.

Yep those are 120 pics, maybe the 107.

The pro comes with a 124cc engine packed with goodies. It also has the billet frame and inverted forks.

We have gotten two of the 120's in, sold one and kept one as a "demo" :D

These things really run well. I did all I could to kill the tranny and did not succeed. It shifted very smooth all day. I shifted it hard and often. On one particular spot of the track, it was a small table top where the backside dropped off and into a 180*right turn. I would take the ramp in 3rd and downshift to 2nd in the air, land with the clutch pulled and then drop the clutch. It never missed a beat.

I can't wait to get the Shinkos on it and try it out again. I am REALLY waiting on my spare set of rims to mount up the Dunlop TT91s on. Now that is going to be fun!!

Possibly the same bike, purchased by a different importer or distributor who then has their own graphics made for it. Or it could be made by a different assembly plant that just uses many or most of the same outsourced parts. It's really impossible to know what your getting with any of these chinese bikes, which is one thing that makes it kinda scary buying one. It's a gamble in that you really dont know what your getting and also that the quality control is so poor that if you took two different examples of the same bike, one could be a turd and the other be ok. Really makes me want to buy a jap bike but since I can't justify the cost of building one, I'm looking for a decent knock-off.

Any idea what the MSRP of the Thumpstar Pro is going to be. I didn't even see it mentioned on the distrbutor's web site.
