I had 2 08 klx 110s (155cc engine on one with full suspension setup) before my ttr, the ttr is far more a better bike in my opinion, the gear ratios are so much better out of the box...

only mods to my ttr, are bars, fmf exhaust and works rear shock and its good to go.

If some of these people that are talking bad about them actually rode one... they would be sold, just like i was.

Put the stock jets back in the carb.. with stock airbox and Fmf 4.1 exhaust, it will run perfect, takes about 5 mins for a yamaha to warm up. I rode mine for 6 months with stock jetting and 4.1 exhaust with stock airbox, Plug looks good, not lean or rich, just perfect. I bought a gytr jet kit and it was a waste of money in my opinion, didn't need it, but if you run a pod filter, you lose all the top end pull which i love about the yamaha.

Hey Ty thanks for the quick reply. My plug seemed pretty white w the stock setup. I am not good at this stuff, but it seems to rich w the 82.5? I just don't wont to cook my engine

Well mine came stock with a 95 main and 12.5 pilot, i live in birmingham alabama so my altitude might be different than yours, but i played with the air fuel screw a lil and it ran good, no bogs or anything.

yeah but they do like 50mph in 4th gear.the klx does that in 3rd gear and can do over 60 with the 4th gear shift drum installed with stock gearing.shoulda bought a kawi
trust me, the klx 110 does not do forty five in third gear stock. I had a stock ttr 90 and my buddy had a new stock klx110 and my ttr 90 beat him in third gear tapped with a max of 43 MPH. The TTR's are bullet proff and im saying this as a KLX 110 owner. They might not have enough mods as the KLX 110 but the TTR110 will be killer soon enough...

Yea klx gearing sucks, don't matter how big the engine is... 3rd and 4th gear they fall on their face... Thats why i love my ttr110, great gearing...

Here lately at local tracks ive been beating 9k dollar bbr bikes with my ttr110... and my bike hangs right with a 143cc klx 110 no problem... Looking to do a manual clutch soon,to get some more corner exit speed.
