What motor should i buy, i have 325 dollars... i see that from Jeremiah i can get the Monster 140 Lifan with the BVH for 330 shipped, what are my other options... (I need everything, since i sold my CDI, wiring harness, and all...

I SEE SGR has the Jialing 125 from the SSR`s for 235, but ill have to call J. tomorrow because i dont know if it comes with a carb...? they are the same thing as a GPX right???

In stock form, the lifan will have more power than the gpx 125. If you want to mod the engine, there are more options for the gpx, but there are still things you can do to the lifan.
I have heard nothing but good things about the monster 140. Let Jeremiah know what you are looking to do with it and he will get you the right thing. He knows his stuff well and is a straight shooter. He won't try to sell you something that isn't right for you.

i know... ive delt with him for a few things... ohnestly no matter what i want.. the motor will probably be left stock. i heard great things about their torque, just short shift and run tall gearing and they are sweet... True???

you think the 140 can pull the 16 tooth front pinion? i put it on my Zongshen which had a 14 because we were on a high speed track... the bike went slower top speed and would rev out at all.. im guessing it is because it doesnt have any power lol...
I have one that I haven't run yet, hopefully this weekend if my triple clamp gets back from the machine shop in time. I'll let you know.
Whatever you do make sure you run the oil cooler with that engine. From the very beginning.

does the one from Jeremiah come with the oil cooler and ****???? and if it will wheel stand with 15tooth up front im sure ill be fine with the 16... im only 145 lbs..

Again, I think you'll have to ask Jeremiah. Did you look at the thread I linked? Kevin describes the power as pretty good. I am sure it will come with the cooler. I don't know if it will come with the harness or cable. Mine didn't. I'm sure that whatever it doesn't come with, Jeremiah will either have it or be able to get it. If for some reason he can't get you a harness, you can get the parts for them from Dratv, but ask Jeremiah first.
It doesn't come with an IRK, but from what I have read it doesn't need one. I have one sitting in the box, but I haven't installed it on my 140. I am going to ride it first and see if I think it needs it. I'm guessing it will not get put in.

the GPX140 is a real strong motor out the box you can add a Z40 cam or TB race cam and it will be just as strong as the GPX150. we just added the Z40cam and drag raced the 150 and the cammed 140 was just inching the 150 on the topend. so for the best bang for the buck i would say GPX140 then add a cam,
