TB doesn't have a bolt up head that'll work on a GPX unless something has changed in the last month... Your options are Lifan or SGR for bolt up.

Thanks, I just noticed that on T-bolts website. I was told by another friend that they had a race head. It must have been the 88 head they were thinking of.

Looks like not too many people here know what fits what. 6 people have voted for the tb racehead and it's not even a bolt on for the GPX. Someone delete this poll and thread b/4 some more people get confused. All we need is a bunch of people going around saying it will fit. There will be 100 worthless threads started about it.

I've ridden both SGR race head and Lifan BVH. In my experience I liked the Lifan, the SGR seemed to fall off early but the Lifan pulled hard all over and especially up top. I know alot had to do with the cam but cams for the lifan seem to be available all over.

I have a used Lifan BVH just chillin if your friend is interested. PM me if you think he might want it.

And as far as carbs go the vm 26 is probably the most common and is a great carb. I like my OKO 26 though, easy to tune with decent power and the kit comes with a jet kit.

Now it looks like 8 people have voted for the tb head. The TB head won't fit folks. Quit voting for it. Someone delete this thread please. I am telling u more people are going to think it's a bolt on.

SGR head is the way to go over lifan, how ever if he wants to save some cash then look into the lifan option. How ever by the time he buys a lifan head, has it ported, buys a cam and stiffer springs not much more money and he could have the sgr head with bigger valves etc. SGR heads are on sale right now.
