What does this thing in the picture do? Does that mount to a normal straight valve stem so that you can access it easier from the side?

The reason I ask it because I am having a very hard time finding a gas station air chuck or bicycle pump air chuck for that matter that fits these 10" rims.

I will in the future buy tubes with a 90 degree bent valve stem but want one of these if they will go over the stock ones in the meantime. Is this what I've been looking for?

Just buy tubes with bent valve stems

They should have them at your dealer in 2.5 - 3.0 sizes

I personally don't like them though.. They are a pain in the ass to thread the bent valve through the hole.

Then when the tire pops, its a bitch to thread it back through the hole to get it off lol

I always thought air chucks made airing these things up super easy.. The ones at gas stations/air bubbles/air compressors are my favorite.. They fit right in there with ease I always thought..

Only problem I have, is I've never actually checked my air pressure, I always go off feel cause I can't get my air pressure gauge in there..

A bike pump will work.

You gotta run it through the spokes about 2 inches above the stem and you can just get it on...

Its still a PITA but it gets it done. Hence why i dont mess with tire pressure unless its low :p

If you guys switch to that ^ you won't have any problems at all. There's no fittings issues.

ya thats what I was saying when I said my local gas stations fill ups and my air bubble works perfect

I can definitely see how the other nozzle wouldn't work!

If you don't happen to have a air compressor at your house, or even if you do, i'd suggest an air bubble from walmart for $20..

I used to always use this little electric pump that hooks up to my car, but it was a BITCH to get to attach to the 50 wheel since its such a big end..

Finally I bought a bubble, and now I just fill the bubble at my gas station for free, or at my friends if im by there, and keep it with me when I go ride :)

Sorry, I didn't get that. If a bubble is the tank, how does one keep it with them when they go riding? And, how do you attach that to the gas station's adapter? Is the "bubble" that adapter in the pic?

The tank will an air valve just like the one that's on your bike tube. You fill up the tank from the air hose that's hooked up to a compressor.

You buy that little brass air chuck, buy an adapter for your hose that's connected to the tank, and you're set.

Have you guys checked out those little pancake air compressors? Pretty cheap.

ya air bubble is just a small tank that holds air

They have a fill port on them on one end that looks just like a valve stem (so any air pump can hook up) and then they have a short hose with a nozzle like this

Something like this.. But this one is probably expensive since its name brand.. You can get them at walmart for $20 :)

And I don't actually take it in the trails with me, I just keep it at the truck for when I need to air up

Or like one day, my tire was running flat every 30 minutes, so I brought it out on the trails with me, and just left it in the trails, and every 20-30 mintues i'd stop and get some air lol
