My story--I was a planet minis regular until I built my bike and found out its limits, it was a built 50 with ALL the bells and whistles except a built motor, but a built motor would not have helped me. I am 6 foot, 200 pounds and I ride hard and fast and like to jump big. I come from a big bike background. The I shock with rez, and 70 forks just didnt cut it for me coming down from 10ft+ air. I want to build some kind of hybrid 4 stroke mini, with a lot of power, and a nice suspension that can handle big whoops and jumps for a guy my size. I have the ability to fabricate so I can mix and match to my hearts desire. Basically what I am asking is what fork/frame/motor combo would you guys reccomend. I will probably fabricate a swing arm and run a CR80 shock??

Id say go to an XR80, its the smallest bike that comes with big bike stuff. It has a real singer, a clutch and is a 5 speed. It is soft but I no someone makes springs and stuff for it, BBR makes stuff for it too.

Or you can have BBR build you a CRF150/250 for 15000 like in the new MXA. That thing is awesome. It is a CRF150 with CR 80 suspenders, and a CRF250 engine, not the 150 or the 230. its big and small, depending where you are looking from.

Well you could either build a KLX / DRZ with BIG MINIS parts - or - you could build a a 124 cc XR motor with a REEG XR70 frame mod / rear suspension set up with Marzocchi front end 8) .

  • You were into the mini scene and got out? 8O This is rare to hear of for sure.
  • My suggestion to you is to RUN.. run as far away and as fast as you can and NEVER look back.

Springs for all riders weights are available, it just takes a couple extra days for high weight springs because they are custom made.
