Elka shocks are the best so far.

I've had/rode bikes with ishock, fox,Elka and even a DC shock.

The ishock was no different then the stocker for ride comfort....ishock is straight up junk.

Glad you didn't get hurt from it.

Im kinda tempted to go take my ishock off right now.
It should be fine as long you don't catch some SICK air, ya know 8 inches is pretty insane. I'd even call that Bio-Air (Fans of Frezno Smooth will get that one)

Harmon, did you talk to Ishock yet are they gonna do anything for you, or are you even going to bother, even if they give you a new shock for free you shouldn't run it, that's just not safe to have a shock fail that easily

Im happy that i sold my limited edition ishock before it snapped/blew out and bought an ELKA. Best choice ever, the Elka's are amazing. Get one for your next shock, you wont be dissapointed.

rc broke 3 in 2 weeks

Not the real Rc, Me haha but in all seriousness I did break three I shocks in two weeks time with only 4 practice rides in that time frame.

Shock 1- Did the exact same thing as Harmon bend and broke shaft and blew shock body apart.

Shock 2- Jammed he rebound rod and it stuck all the way down

Shock 3- Snapped shaft and thus destroyed shock body

Now use stocker with hd spring and haven't had a single issue

i'm starting to feel the same way after countless threads liek this.. hell my pro-wheel bottoms off a curb, but at least it hasn't broke

yea I'm just glad I didn't get one ! all the wasted time of sending it back to have it rebuilt and sent back. Then to be blown up again or snapped would of sucked!

haha it even says on their advertisement on this site "15 years experience" obviously they haven't learned a thing in 15 years!

answering the weight question. im only 115 pounds so it wasnt a weight issue. but i did talk to ishock on the phone and they seemed completely reasonable with this situation. they saw what was posted on here and they said just send it in for them to loook it over and they will go from there. i cant remember the guys name now. but a real nice guy. ishock has good customer service if you would call it that.

I'm 6'5" and 225 lbs and have I-shocks on both my 110's. The pic in my avatar is of me jumping 25+ feet off a four foot steel ramp. Both my bikes are 2005's and the shocks have been on since new with zero problems other than replacing the shock bushings on one. I'm happy with my I-shocks.
