Well, all I gotta say is wow, its got some mean power. I went to a 15tooth front sprocket and it pulls it like its first gear. Very nice pull off the bottom. Havnt got to really run it hard yet as Im still breaking it in, I will let know once I really let er rip. But as far as quality and everything else it was very good. The carb is kinda finicky to make fit but once you play with it some it goes in pretty well. All in all I have to say that this is a stellar kit for the money and will recomend it to anybody looking for a 88kit.

Yeah I went with the standar kit without a head and it is bad as hell, cant imagine it with a head. I did have my stocker ported though but man I am really impressed. go here www.hondatrailbikes.com to check em out.

I think Im going to get the honda trail bikes 88 big bore kit with a head. The takewega big bore kit with a head is around $1200 and i dont think its worth that much. Im either going to get the honda trail bikes 88 kit with a head or the kitaco 88 kit (probaly the hinda trail bikes because it comes with a head for the same price)

I've ran both the TB 88cc Kit with head, and a kitaco Ultrahead on both my bikes. I will never, ever, ever run the kitaco ultrahead again due to the high pricetag, and it wasn't any faster. Plus the supersmall valve stems don't hold up with extended use.

You can't go wrong with the TB setup.

this first ride is with your head work or W/O?

i am thinking of getting it to.

does the cam/20 mm make much of a diff.

i plan to port my stuff too! seems like most

of the dividends are from the flow you get with a 20mm

and porting!

It was with the ported head, had it done while it was apart. Im sure the cam and 20mm really help, the cam that comes with it is huge. Also, I still cant believe the compresion of this thing. Its almost like kicking over my GasGas EC200. Its major badass, wish I could have sprung for the head as well, maybe one day.

i got the hondatrail setup with their head too n im lovin it! ive raced takagawas kit, head n all as well as kitacos and spanked em both (drag only). i also went up 1 tooth up front, clutch springs, n taka. rev box. very very very satisfied!!!!!
