Hi, the zb/monkey R/monster clone fits perfectly in my newly acquired 1970 vw bus perpendicularly with maybe an inch to spare the sliding door. With the nsr conversion it would be a no-go.

Long live the 10 inchers

brad shes lookin sweet! How's it go? Fast?!

Thanks d0n, its been a super drawn out free time only type of build, and as im sure you know as well as everyone else does thats into these things. Its never truly done. I'm just happy to be at the ridable stage with it. Lots of aesthetics to work on and tuning still.

Still breaking her in so im not quite sure yet for a top end. With the Daytona race ratio 4 speed and the current gearing 15 - 35 i was cruising along in 4th the other day at 5000 RPM doing about 85kph. Im going to run this gearing for the track, but i plan to do some 1/4 mile runs next month at infinion race way in Sonoma. goig to run 17 - 35 then for some top speed runs as well.

If all my numbers lined up as planned it should be a 80mph bike no prob.

I just finished up the headlight and blinkers this morning so i can now terrorize the city at the same time work out the bugs in the tune. Another week or so and she will be ready for the track.

Hey , did our humble moderater just highjack this thread !!!!!!!

j.k. Bike looks great Brad.......... and i guess the chicks were right

....2 " 's does make a difference

least wise fitting a ZB in the vehicle

a hitch and a carrier is a good idea! I have a hitch and a 4x7 trailer but a carrier would be much easier ...and... you don't have to register it or take up a space in the driveway.

But you can't put sheetrock and plywood on a carrier. :(

dave congrats on the bus! Post some pics of it here. I've had no less than 4 VW busses in my life. A 1970, a 73 westfalia camper that I used to carry my 84z50r in, a 74 with the huge sliding sunroof and a 63 split window. Busses are a lot of fun! I want a syncro westfalia someday. :)
