I've got a honda xr70 engine w/ a tb 88 kit w/ racehead.
I know this is the chinese section but noone looks at the other forums.
Please bear w/ me.
I installed the motor is a z50. I got the motor in and had it running good.
I did however notice that the motor would die out after riding for 5 minutes or so.
I found the the problem to be the vented cap on the z50 tank. I would crack it and hear a vacuum. Crack the cap and restart and it was good to go.
The problem is now the bike will start but won't rev up. When I can keep it running, not for very long and sounds wrong, I open the throttle and it dies.
I've cleaned the carb 10 times aleast, checked for spark. I even took down the top end and checked the valves. Valve timing is good.
It starts and then dies. Sometimes it will run for a while, like sh$t though.
I'm in need of help. I've checked for intake leaks as well.
Any ideas?
I'm thinking stator or coil, but I've yet to have these parts fail on me so I'm just guessing.
