Winter project... Loncin 125 in a Z50r

That's a good question... I need to find a fender that'll fit in the curved recess of the seat. It's pretty narrow. Anyone got any ideas?



I am going to bend that aluminum bracket up and attached the fender to it.

we're supposed to get snow... they're talking about a major storm.



The zb is fine. It's in the basement with the Z. I feel bad neglecting it but I do glance over at it every now and then! :) ! I just re-registered it so she's ready for another year of hooliganism and highway hijinx! I need to get 4 new ministalk turn signals for it. The one's I have on it now are complete shiite. The impossible to find, expensive 23w bulbs blow all the time and the wiring in the signals is really cheap. Anyone know of some really good mini-stalk signals?

Don,,,for the fender,,,,you may have to go "outside the box" a bit... You're not gonna find a fender that will bolt right on and look great. I would go to the local Honda/Kaw/Suz or wahtever shop and look at fenders on all the dirt bikes. I'm thinking maybe even KLX110,CRF80/100 something that has a similar shape/width, that can also be ordered from Acerbis or UFO in white. With a heat gun you can reshape it and trim it to meet your needs. Dirtbike plastic is workable. If you want to get fancy you could cut out a piece of plywood to match the cutout shape of your seat to use as a mold to help form the plastic. Might as well go custom dude, the rest of the bike is. Keep up the good work.:cool:

I agree... that's why I haven't done it yet. I basically have to buy a few white fenders that I think might work and then see if I can make em work. Ebay here I come!

Just my two cents, but I have always thought that bike should have some old school chrome fenders, maybe with a rubber mud flap on the front. I used to live near a huge cycle salvage yard, they had entire rows of fenders, plastic, steel, fiberglass. The place was like a candy store.

does this thing drive yet? Cause man you gotta make a video!!!!!!!!!!! I bet everyone else on here wants to see it. And too make a nice one at least about 2 minutes plus some nice riding! Just want to see it in action.

I tried a 91 z50 rear fender ...cut away from the adjoined number panels. It was way to wide and flat. I haven't tried a crf one yet. I've got a couple bids on fenders now. One is from an 80's yz80. It looks promising.





I haven't started the bike yet. I want to get it complete before I run it. Plus, I don't have the right pipe yet.





ghost I can't see an old school chrome fender on it.

its snowing down here too we are waiting for mild drop of 6 to 7 inches .. for you it would like a dusting of snow!! i re register both minis.. this week and they are both due for inspection.... I would look for the st90 style blinkers.. i have a set of my 636e just the front !!! pm if you want them maybe we can work something out.. i took them off when the bike 6 miles ... they are 1 year old and sitting on my tool box.
