I was looking for your specific setup. Weight, height, riding level...are you set up for the big hit, the bumps, or somewhere in between. some guys even change PSI. That is what i was looking for.

dont buy that shock in the link, it does not have external comp ajdustment. The shock that does is very adjustable. When you turn the knob all the way in, the shock barely moves, and when you turn it out you can feel a noticable difference. I love that shock almost as much as my rcm shock.

I was looking for the fork originally, but it hit the same site. Thanks for the hook up.

I have the RCM also...i like it alot--i had skindonor send me another shock spring for a lighter rider; it's perfect.

what did you guys do for your set-ups? Again...height/weight/ability/application?

I have the fastace 2nd gen forks and the fastace 66RC shock. I'm 6'4" 230lbs. I have 150-160 psi in the compression leg and 70-80 psi in the rebound leg. I have the compression clicker maxxed out and the rebound clicker is about 1/2 of the way in (maybe 6-7 clicks I think). I really like the forks. They have a little bit of dive up at the top of the stroke, but once they move about 1-2" into the stroke they firm up and get nice and stiff yet plush.

As for the 66RC shock, I love it. I'm a little over 1/2 way in on the compression and a little less than 1/2 way in on the rebound. It feels very similiar to the DMN shock that's real popular now but the fastace is more adjustable. I've shimmed mine (both eyes) with 1/8" poly washer on each side to compensate for the lack of the hiem joints and my big fat ass. So far it's been taking a real beating and holding.....not to mention, it has a great over-all feel to it.

I rode a full size track on Sunday with my mini and I was able to do most of the jumps that I do on my 450. I only have about 20 hours on the suspension, but so far the fastace stuff is no joke.

Yea, I think I saw that post.

Heres a pic of my local track I was talking about. I was able to do most of the jumps and not kill myself on my mini with the fastace suspension.

I friend of mine picked up a chinese bike with the fast ace forks. Last time we were riding there was fork oil dripping from the forks. It about the 5th riding session since the bike was brand new. The first 1-2" of travel feels like theres a spacer missing in one of the forks or something of the sorts.

He always lands back wheel first because of the fear of the forks breaking or something of the sorts... it does make a good sized clunk every time you load them.

I don't doubt that they may be fixable. Actually, does anybody have any links to tech info on the forks/ exploded views of the forks.

here's the forks (put up pics because I'm not sure what model they are)
