Just got the motor back for the ZB from my builder. It is a 106. Figured I would post a pic of it and will start posting pics of the work I am doing & have done on the the rest of the bike. Doing the NSR conversion same as Brad by the way.

Rims, frame, swinger fork tubes rear sets & most everything are going to be black. Motor is the stock ZB motor totally rebuilt with a 106 kit & ported 70 head. Cylinder is a cheater marked 49cc that I powdercoated to look stock. I also powdercoated the cases & the clutch cover as they were in need of some tlc.

Very good rich, give us more details. what crank and head are you using? how big are the valves? Got a good exhuast for it? going to run rearsets?

I'll have to get back to you on all the motor specifics.. Running the Monkey R rearsets. Probably gonna hit Dave @ D&D exhaust up for a custom dual under tail exhaust. I've got to know him pretty well from hanging out over there getting exhaust for my big bikes so will have to see what we can come up with.

And you will need a oil cooler also.

Have one; just waiting to finish mocking everything up on the frame, welding, sandblasting then powdercoating all the parts. Also going to have a buddy make some custom frame sliders for it as well.

Rich,

Your project is coming along nicely. Did Mr. Little sell you the JRP adapters to run the Monkey R rearsets with the NSR master cylinder or are you fabricating your own braket to hang the rear master?

Looks great!

sweet set up........................... like a dream to me!!

guys, what is the measurement for the front disc rotor bolt to bolt on center ( 3 bolts to the rim) is it 60mm?

Thanks !!

Brad, I'd love to have a real dry clutch, had a honda nsr250sp for a bit with one, but can't really justify my mini costing more than my car. If you live in California or the jungles of Borneo like Dillweed, people expect the excentricities. Maybe one day tho, I'll buy a honda dream 50 and fit the race kit, i'm assuming it has a dry clutch like the real racer. By the way are you leaking out details about your new builds engine, perhaps a Takegawa double over head cam engine with Dry Clutch and 5 speed? I could buy a dream for the price of that engine. cheers

no take dohc or 5 speed here. don't need anything that is under engineered, and something else that tends to break cause they were not designed to last.
