Clutch Springs?

I am running a Trail bikes 143 with carb with stock head, my question is if I really need to use HD clutch springs with that set up. Will I experience any slipping without them?

I experienced slipping of my clutch and I installed 6 HD springs in my bike when I installed my CHP cable clutch kit. I have the two bros 143 kit with pipe, cam, and now OKO 26mm carb kit. I def. needed teh springs and its makes a great difference IMO

Yup, I see that you are from Erie, PA...where do you usually ride at? just wondering?

I ride at Tv Land and The Lube in sharon pa I also hit some local big bike tracks up here. Switch Back mx in butler and High voltage too.

a good setup is the to run a kx65 clutch kit... like an ebc or a barrnett... they run anywhere from 50-80 bucks and works great!!!

not to jack your thread but with a 143se should i use all 6 hd springs? there actually super duty but i dunno if theres a difference
