I rode with a guy who had one of these a little over a week ago. He was riding it pretty hard that day but only had 3 or 4 runs on it total. Everything bolted up well, it definately looked sharp except the finish was very raw from the cnc cutting. As an FYI, he was also running the Fast Ace inverted adjustable forks which bolted on with no modification. I'm not sure of the thickness of material on it nor did I get a good look at the joints.

not here yet, hoping it will be here on monday oct ?? Tomorrow. I will be bolting abunc of stuff to it and doing a kinda frankenstein bike. Should be pretty sweet. Heres a little breakdown so far. These parts are on the way to my house.

Aluminum Peri frame mentioned above

RCM front end w/12" tire and bars and brakes and hopefully bearings.

RCM phase IV rear shock

12" rear tire off of ebay. 15mm bearings/straight lace spokes

gas tank for perimeter frame

exaust pipe for perimiter frame

rear axle

i have a rear brake laying around

i have a down components seat laying around

i have a china gold chain laying around

just need the little stuff like a throttle, grips, plastics, footpegs, an engine, bolts/nuts

so far i am about a grand into this thing, but with everything i hope to be around 1500. I am thinking GPX engine. But for 1500, i will have a bike that is well suspended(rcm susp.) and looks sweet too. Lets hope this frame is strong enough.

I have a donor bike that we are gonna pull stuff off of and prob use the engine out of. I will creat a new thread with pics very soon so keep your eyes peeled.

Actually, it turned out really nice, but it really isnt done yet. The frame is pretty heavy duty. we have beaten on it and nothing close to a failure yet. I ended up selling it to the guy who had the donor bike, but he still hasnt paid me and i dont want to stick more money into it and so it just sits right now, but he just got a job and hopefully gets me some money and then we will trick this thing out. once it is all dont, i will post a thread. I put some pics up somewhere, but i cant find them on here . Here are some of it a while ago, the rear wheel is different, but that about all that has changed.

my frame kit didnt come with a swingarm bolt, so i just threaded a piece of rod on both ends and used that. Also, regular footpegs dont work, they sag big time. I had to add metal to the spot where the peg stops itself from drooping down. otherwise i am very happy with this frame and i am gonna buy another one to put my new rcm into.

i i guess it all comes down to age cause if you have a mortgage to pay then id stay away cause it could cost alot more in loss of income ,but if u live at home and ride for team mom&dad, screw it u wont be out on the street if u break ur leg and im interested to know if these things hold up. so buy it and let us know.

i wasnt even talkin to u . as u can see by the time 12:09/12:24,i posted right after you so i didnt see your most recent post, not that it mattered. suprised u didnt catch that .i can work with a broken leg ,and obviosly so can u , but how many others could ? im all for an alternative to BBR " Better Be Rich " thats why i bought my pitster ,but this frame might be takin it too far 4 me. now stay on course of this thread and let us know when it breaks .again this was a response to mx823 the guy who asked for our opinions, not u .

If you do the math, Id be ALOT cheaper to get the whole rolling chassis aluminum pitbike off ebay, because after you part out previous parts, along with new parts you dont need, its free at least, or your even making a little bit of $. But I guess you also have to have a bike to start out with! Thats what I am currently doing, so there will be almost a whole bike worth of parts coming on here for sale in the next week or so!

i want to see a picture of one actually breaking from normal use(no getting hit by a truck or dropped off of a two story building) because i dont see how this frame would break any sooner than any other frame out there. I am sure a BBR is better, but this thing has two huge spars of alum and the whole rear is cnc'd(like where the swingarm and shock mounts) Only when i see a pic will i believe that these frames are junk.

once again, homeless, i didnt mean to get all bitchy, I just hate seeing people trash stuff who have never touched it and then i went all "i work at a desk, what diff does it make if i broke my leg?" on you. This frame is strictly eye candy for poor people, there is no advantage with it. Actually since you basically have like two pipe choices, it kinda sucks, but it looks cool and works perfectly. I would trust it as much as my RCM chromo and the pitster frames.

^^^^ and what the funk does this guy know?

yes i think it would be cheaper next time to buy the whole roller and just sell all the garbage off of it.

If there made of Beer cans then im responsible for the production of more frames than there are members on here. Lets keep in mind 99% of this stuff comes from China anyway so if you save 800 smackers buy the SOB, but if it breaks dont bitch. I weigh 215 if I break my bike that was designed with the end user weighing 60 pounds so be it. I think alot of us have lost site these are minis not 450's. My 2 centz!!! Laterz

Recycling always pays!

I was just kidding, that's probably one of the best deals out there for a reasonably priced frame. I'd get one except in California, You have to have the VIN on the frame to get the thing registered to ride on public land.
