Various Seat Foam Density!!!!

I'm sure this had been discussed before and I did do a search (for all you wannabe moderators), but the answer I was looking for was not there. Right now I'm running a BBR tall seat assembly and it is really soft. Too soft!!!! My buddy is using a SDG Tall seat assembly and it is as hard as a rock. I feel that the soft seat is making me a lazy rider (seat bounce everything) and the hard seat would make me not want to ride at all. So, who knows what is the happy medium? Looking for something in between. Any suggestions? Thanks!!!

ya i have the bbr tall seat too...after a while of riding with the soft foam seats the foam collapases...then becoming too soft. my buddy has the one industries seat. once broken in its nice but i dont like the cover

A lot of people get a harder seat foam then drill holes in the bottom of the foam to soften it up.

Try an One Ind. tall seat its not to soft and not to hard.

i had a bbr seat also and i agree, it felt nice at first but was way to soft after it broke in. i changed it for a two brothers seat and its perfect! not overly stiff but it doesnt feel like a couch like the bbr either. also the seat cover is thicker and has a nice gripper texture to it. heres the two brothers seat:

i know its not a tall seat foam but if you have any buddies with 110s and there hucking there ould seat foams from them they fit perfect with a little trimming on the back, it raises you up a lil and isnt to hard but not to soft, plus you still have the sent of the seat that sags down a little like it should. Its what i did and saved myself 100 bucks

I have a BBR and the foam doesn't bother me nearly as much as that STUPID slippery BBR patch on the seat. Whoever designed the seat cover is a complete idiot. Who would put something so slipper on the part of the seat where you want grip?!

yupp BBR's tall seat is way tooo soft and SDG is like sittin on a rock!..

red baron is prefect soft enough to sink a little but hard enough to where your not going to smash down to the base of the seat.

i like sdg's it feels like a big bike to me...and it doesnt have a damn RUBBER cover..
