Ok guys, I'm ready to throw it off a cliff. I put in a Wiseco high compression piston, Takegawa cam, honed the cylinder real good, cleaned the carb real good, everything went together perfectly. Timing was perfect and it started on the 3rd or 4th kick. I putted around for a little to get it warmed up then let it cool down. My dad hopped on it for about 1/2 hour and was riding it and said it was great. Put it back in the garage, came out the next day and nothing. I tried new plug and it has good spark. Its getting fuel. I drained the gas and put ran it through a filter and put it back in, cleaned the carb again, and I can kick it all day but nothing. Why did it work great one day and the next day (and several days after that) nothing? Any ideas at all would be a help.

do you have compression?

yea, compression is good. that leads me to believe the rings are set correct. that and the fact that it ran great, then all of a sudden wont start or do anything. could the rev box gone bad or something else electrical? I'm completely out of ideas.

Nick, did you mod the carb? You might still need a choke on it if you did the mod to the carb. Just a thought.

you said it had good spark though.

check the kill switch u havent said that. jp u should look at spark plug gap. fixed mine. and i didnt even do it.......

is it even trying to start? like blug blug. or like nothing?

you bike should start if you have spark (good and blue) + compression + gas (carb not stopped up) -- if you have all three then I would check your cam timing -- and if that looks OK -- then i would check your ignition timing -- and just in case that doesnt work be sure you have a clean air filter (and that you have a clean and clear intake) -- and make sure you have a clear exhaust

Its sorta like blug blug.haha.

I remember pulling the kill switch off of one of his bikes.I think it was the one in question.Plug gap is fine as we tried my plug in his bike and it didnt work either and his plug worked in my bike.

I just checked all that you mentioned and all were good. I took the flywheel off and made sure the inside was clean and that it was all good in there. Timing was good and everything else looked OK. STILL FU(KING NOTHING!!!!

Pull the plug out get a can of starting fluid or poor about a half an ounce of fuel into the cyclinder, put the plug back and as long as you have sprark the motor will fire weather it want's to or not!

That seems like it could spell trouble.

Nick, if you do that I wanna watch.haha

OK, I just spent the last 3 hours checking timing 3 times, swapping plugs, coils, and air filters, adjusting valves, cleaning and re-assembling the carb, cleaning the flywheel again, checking for loose wires/plugs, plugging and un-plugging the kill switch and I'm sure I tried something else I cant remember and still nothing.
