theres alot of shit there that makes the motor just more than a 11 hp figure... you have to factor in everything else you get such as the tranny, clutch... etc etc.. soo while everyone is bitchin about the hp figure (maybe its 11 ... maybe its not) consider you are getting a well rounded/fast motor that can win races.... for a great price

now after saying this i would personally rather have a 95 or a 106 superhead (Even above the 124 se) because i am simply faster on those motors... each person is different and has a different style.... these motors may not be for you.... they may be.... the hp number alone is not what wins races and to be honest hte highest hp number motor in the race does not usually win

so stop complaining about the hp numbers and get a clue.

I am not in no means bitching about it, if it puts out that much I may be interested in getting one. I would just like to see the dyno sheets

we are the first vendors to sell /build gpx motors

raced vegas 05 with a gpx in bos bike and its still running !!!

we have been proving the gpx here and world wide and we have the race results back it up

wins in florida w/ 311 austin collins

at englishtown w/ brian wallace and cody kessler

and in cali with josh and jer staggs

works II has always included more than anyone

kitaco inner rotor

MIKUNI carb

JAPAN hd clutch plates

NOW with 27/25 BIG VALVE HEADS !!!!

Works II motor (as far as i know) was the only import motor to make it to the main event at MMSX in the 50 class. Qualifying runs were impressive and were it not for getting banged up on the track and a disconnected plug-wire, it might have been one hell of a day for GPX and the works II motors.

It's good that the dyno's are coming, but the motor I have is fast enough to be competitive and do well in races. It's cheap, it's done and built, and it's reliable. It might not win out against all the built hondas, but it's one impressive drop-in motor.

I have the GPX with the 131 kit, Cat 5 porting, Takegawa cam, modified oil sling and flywheel, 26mm carb, bb exhaust, rev box, oil cooler, and 16/39 gearing. I have no idea what hp it is putting out, but I do know this. I have been training 3 times a week at 2 short outdoor style mx tracks with smaller obstacles (jumps that are still challenging, but all doable on a mini), I have been on the track with Kitaco and Takegawa 106 and 124 motors, DRZ/KLX 110 (who knows what motors) some big minis (CRF100, TTR's, etc.) and guys on regular Big bikes. Not only have I been able to pass the high dollar Kitaco and Takegawa motors on the long straights, and in the turns (these do not count as that I believe is rider only) put passes on the 110's, and bigger minis, but I have also not lost much ground to the big bikes either. Now do know get me wrong, I am under no illusion that my mini is as fast as a 250 or 450f, but on a MX track this motor absolutly rips. It does not have to rev'ed to the moon to make power, but it can be if needed. It makes good power low and pulls higher gears than other motors. This alone I think makes it so fast. It makes the mass of its power lower in the RPM range which allows you to ride a gear higher also allowing the bike to go through turns faster since the 4 stroke compression braking is less effective in higher gears. This motor will not out horsepower a Daytona 4v 119, or a Superhead+r 124, but with the right rider it will make it to the top step of the box, AND you will not have to rebuild the top end after every race.

GPX motors are most definately worth the investment!!

Vince!!!!

No Dyno's yet? It has been almost 3 weeks since I asked you to dyno it and I don't see any dyno sheets, and I am needing to upgrade my motor or buy a different one. Vince please get it on the dyno so I can make up my mind.

everyones waiting for their swedish dynos. waffle, what are you wanting to see? the 141 should give 1 more hp and 1lb more of torque over the 131. i think people have dynoed them but are to embarassed to show. from what i hear the 131 is as fast as anything at the track so why go to the 141?
