anyone knows who modifies the showas to shorten them up? I emailed vinco, since they offer the forks, but know one has replied. I would like to run my showas on my drz 110, they bolt on perfectly, but they are way too chopperish.

McIntosh is worth the wait.

I would have to agree with you on that. There is a little nicer outlet that isn't such a wait for a GSXR arm. I know.... who drag races crotch rockets anyway..j/k. mrmperformance is right on point with that. I don't think Mark can help with the forks, so I guess that was just a shameless plug... Sorry back on topic. I'm really considering hookin a shortened set of these on mine as well. I'm gonna have to swish around a lil...

When you say that they bolt on perfectly, what do you mean?? Is the steering stem the right length so it bolts up or what? I only ask b/c i have thought about doing this.

How or have you been able to mount the forks up? The RM85 forks comes with a 25x47 upper tapered roller bearing and a 26x47 lower bearing. I can see how you could replace the upper since the KLX uses 25x46 cup ball and cone style bearings(and there are tapered roller bearing replacements), but how did you manage the lower? Have you found a 26x46 tapered roller bearing for the lower, or have you cut down the stem diameter to 25mm on a lathe?
