Back to the carb issue. I have a 125 thumpstar with a tb 26 carb i ran it with what ever pilot jet was in the carb cause i dont have another. the main i put a 110 on the bottom it pulled hard and just fell off on top and i have a rotor kit on it so it revs out i would say it was only revving out to about 8500 -9000 and would not rev more it would like shut down. plug had a little black on it so tried a smaller jet but was the same. the staock carb is a mikuni 22mm with a 97.5 main jet and neele all the way up (clip at bottom) and it pulls hard all the way through the rev range and the plug looks perfect. i live at 6000 feet above seal evel and that works good up here. at coast level i run a 105 main and with the clip at bottom and that is a little rich. So i am not sure what to do with this 26mm carb should i try and go with a bigger main jet or what.

Thanks..

Get that motor fixed up so we can really race... you know... now that I gotz a lil 88cc action helping me out.. which still gets spanked on the straights by you boys and your insanely ill 106'ish rigs!

However... that lil 88 did post the 3rd fastest time of the night behind Ablaza on his 155 and Gronowitz on his big Kawi

ahaha. You know I'm just busting your shit. Great seeing you and Bert last night and I'm bummed I'll be missing our races next weekend. Hey... it's MotoGP man! Look forward to you getting that bike sorted out and all of us having a good battle in two weeks... possibly on the Megatrack.. oh boy!

that thing is just a toy!!!! :p you better be tellin what it is-after everyone hammered me on what i was runnin...til tuesday.

Tuesday nights track wont have any flow to it backwards thats for sure, going to have to rely on pure power!!!!

Your answer is the z50 piston

Ok So im asking.....Do you think a superhead piston will solve the problem? The head appears to have a dome big enough for the piston. i can tell you that the Piston works with the AHP Head and Lifan heads off the 86cc motors.

If the combustion chamber is the same as before, with just some new valves, your answer is probably to get the z50 piston with the dome. I have run a dratv short rod stroker and the e22 head with the z50 piston. It makes 12.5:1 compression and runs awesome. Dratv has them in 51 and 52mm bores.
