I am EXTREMELY interested in the 110's. I know a fair share about the 50 world, but nothing really about the 110 world. I was at starwest last night and there was a bike there in the 110 class that appeard to have roughly 55 hp. haha well not really but a ton. He said that it was like a 180 something it was the 160 kit with the stroker crank. i know if you do anything to a honda motor you gotta go into the tranny's and the clutch's. Are 110's the same? I have heard that 110's clutchs are bulletproof but i don't know if that is total BS or what. thanks for any of your help. Just looking to get into a fully modded 110 without spending cash that i don't need to spend.

you can get a 110 for 1800 new...... 300$ for a bore up kit, like a 143, get some springs for your forks if you dont want to spend money on a whole new front end....70$. get a clutch...150$$. and a shock or shock spring. prices on shocks go from 200$ to 500$. a spring is cheap. so for about $2400 you can get a pretty good bike with some good stuff.

I just biult 1 up and so far Im about 1350.00 in it. I just installed the TBR fatass springs in the front they feel great compared to stock. My main goal now is the rear shock I thought about replacing the spring but rode 1 with just a fatass spring and it seemed real bouncy. I think Im going to replace the shock any suggestions out there?

I am about $2500 into my 110. I added the Hydraulic clutch, TCS front/rear suspension, 134 kit from Trailbike(went with the 134 as it's very reliable and fast enough for me, plus cost), 21mm Mikuni carb, Unil Pod filter, Tall seat Fastway pegs, peg bar, shifter, rear brake lever from TB, handlebars and a few other add ons.

The one I thing I would do if you are putting on the hydraulic clutch is the stiffer clutch springs(or just add 2 more stock ones). I added the stiffer springs and I have had no problems with clutch fade. I haven't had any issues with the tranny. There are parts out there that are designed to beef up certain known weak points, but I wouldn't go too much into it.

Welcome to the wonderful world of $$110s$$

i have had one problem, ok.... two..... first is: i had the nut that holds the clutch basket on back out on me. it was in the middle of a race, and the hydro clutch just got stiffer and stiffer..... i finished the race, in first, but i was startin' to sweat it a little!!! no damage done. (i roadrace this bike, so it see's a lot more constant, high rpm use than dirt use.)

the 2nd problem is: i cant stop grinning when i'm racing this damn thing!!!!

Works has a great shock for about 250, or else elka or ohlins for 500. The works probably works just as well though for half the $, just not adjustable. Let them no your weight and if its stock swingarm, or +2. Id keep the stock swinger, great for railiing tight corners, and saves lots of $. Get some dampning rods for more travel and lift up front.
