i broke a rocker on a superhead a few weeks back. the head had alot of port work, but it also snapped the retainer in half. and it definetly wasnt due to lack of maintanence. it become an expensive fix when the intake valve dropped and smashed the piston and barrel.
 
hay is that a crf70? i have a crower cam in my 124 sh it has alot more mid then stock so you dont have to rev it near as high so its EZer on the valve train and faster on the track.
 
yeh it is a 70. a bit more mid power would be nice. im struggling to keep intake valves for longer than 5 or so rides. i got all the valve train cryogenically treated and the valve seems to be coping better. the rest of it just failed this time
 
thats cool you got a 70. that sucks about the engine. crower has or can make you some stainless steal valves for like $75. if you got a 124 crower grind #18 is what i run it works good.
