First here are the pics:
Well there it sits.It has a TB117 motor in it with AHP porting.I also am going to put my Inner Rotor back on as soon as I get my billet clutch basket and new CDI box for the Kitaco IR(If anyone has one for sale let me know).I also just got the Ti-Foce from Matt at FMR.I like it much better than my Ultima I had(my right leg likes it better also).Going from my old setup to this is a night and day difference.I had BBR SP5 forks,Fox air shock,Five-O +2 swingarm, and a DC frame with the taller(goofy to me) subframe. As for the staggs stuff here is the review.
Forks:
Really I can sum these forks up in one word.Awesome!First of all they look really trick. The black anodized upper looks clean and the Ti-Nitrate on the lower legs is a nice touch. As for the action of the forks they work really well.Nice and smooth and the rebound adjusters on the top of the forks really work. They seem like a combo of compression and rebound. The front disk brakes work well also and stop on a dime(no thanks to DHL for putting a hole in the box and the bag with them in falling out).Overall I would give the forks a 9.5 out of 10
Shock:
As with the forks, The shock works equally well.It has both compression and rebound adjusters adjusters. The action of the shock is good and once again the adjusters actually work.My compression knob does stick but I am told that will be fixed on the next batch of shocks which I think is already here. The shock is built really well and everything on it looks clean.Overall the shock would be a 8 out of 10.It could use a compression knob the doesnt stick and a shock wrench for it to be a 10.
Frame and Swingarm:
The frame is chromo and the swingarm is a RC/SSR swingarm and not the standard staggs swingarm.I liked the look of it better so thats what J built for me.So far I would give the frame and swingarm a 9 out of 10.There really is nothing wrong with the frame besides you have to use a SDG exhaust of a Tiforce
but it would be nice to be able to use a 50 exhaust. Also The frame lost points for really having no trick factor.I did get the Cat 5 cradle mount from Staggs as well but forgot to install it until I wrote this.
Customer Service:
This is a no brainer. Its a hands down 10 out of 10.If I could give higher than a 10 I would.Jeramiah from Staggs is the man when it comes to service.I would send him a PM or email and he would get back to me sometimes within the same minute. He has also called me many of times(even on sundays) with questions on how I wanted my bike setup or to answer my questions I had for him.
Matt from Factory Motor Sports is the same way.He also has great service and gave me a good deal on my Ti-Foce exhaust(which I never should have traded him my first one anyway..LOL)
I want to tank Matt Virus for his help/parts.
