I would believe those numbers at the crank but at the wheel its hard to believe. especially the 7.6 HP out of a 50cc motor, kurlon is strugling to get that much out of a 72cc motor which uses a much better head.

5hp is more like it and believable out of a modified / Stock 50cc Motor

They are still in buisness but very shaddy people and there numbers are very questionable. I have had one bad experience with them and thats all it took. I sent them a crank and primary gear and they wouldnt even service my items after they said go ahead and send them. They felt that I was a threat to there buisness, because I told them that I was not impressed with there numbers and that I was making more HP than they were, 1 day later they updated the website showing there 88cc from 9ish hp to 10.2 hp, But I am still making more than that out of my 88cc anyhow.....They have done work for a friend and the crastmanship was not so good.....Bearings were full of grit, they talk about taking about 2.5 lbs total out of the crank and primary gear and at best it was 3/4 lbs.

That would be one of there cheater motors.....They openly admit that they build cheater motors.....What kind of buisnees is that???

Wow, I think you're the shady one.. I just got my crank, primary, and flywheel back from them and it's 2.34 lbs lighter than it was stock. They also ported my son's stock head, bought the higher compression stock piston, and had them use their new crank bearings. I had a local shop here do the install. They came up with 6.8 at the wheel. So I doubt their that far off on their numbers. I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering.. Since you're building motors and your friend wasn't happy with them, why would you send them your parts to begin with? Sounds kinda shady to me.

Well I can tell you right know I dont know Justin much at all but he and Ryan and another dude came out from Michigan to the indoor motard race and there bikes flat out ripped and Justin did 99% of the work themselves on the motors He knows what hes talkin about... you might have got real lucky and got a real preformer motor.

Ya im calling major BULLSHIT on the 7.4hp out of a 50cc motor. I cant even squeeze that out of a 68cc mill with a shit load of cutom work that OLDSCHOOL speaks of. Numbers dont mean shit unless it says 1st place. Dynos dont prove anything but a number. There marketing scheme is obviously working.

Id also love to know how there also getting 12:5:1 in it to. I have 11:1 piston and a milled head and dont have that much. unless there welding on the dome and reshaping the combustion chamber but i doubt that for that kind of money.

Powerolls stock 49cc HC piston claims 13 to 1... I think On there site do you think thats BS? that company is good in my book what do you think Ryan?

PRC Sucks...Period lets get Jim started I remember that Jim about 2 years ago

7.4 Hp thats F-in BS Big time...Boy the Sh!T keeps piling up....5Hp is Semi Beliveable i'll except that.

I had the misfortune of purchasing a so called "worked 88" in 3/05.. the motor was a complete pile of shit.. the port work looked like my son had done it with a grinder bit on a drill. the lightened flywheel had pulled metal all the way around. I could go on for ever.. we had a beat to hell 88r that had been just tortured that would walk from the PRC. don't waste your cash

No i dont doubt powrolls claims in fact there most liklely valid. The dome on that piston is a little bigger then mine. I couldnt use it or else i would have with my decked head. I think the valves would hit if i tried it. Powroll is very reputable but a lil pricey. I have 5hp easy out of my new mill but i agree with you 7.4 is BS. thats more then a stock untouched TB88 race head which putos out 6.5-7hp. These people are a joke.

Tricking out a stock 49cc Motor is cool trying to squeeze out as much power as possible. After you left here Dude Brains were cookin on trying to fiqure out "what the hell was in that bike" and after all the Heat we through at you prior to the Event seeing was believing. Your bike hauled and you could definetly Ride it which made you look twice as fast. especially when I thought my stocker went real good for a stock bike, as I watched you lap me...LMAO

Well, the piston is definitely not from powroll, that's what I had in it before. All of the bearings it came with were ceramic, the cam was a nice looking regrind, the cylinder wasn't stock but is stock bore, the crank is polished to point where I could shave in it, the primary is super light as the flywheel. There wasn't any pulling in it either.

Keep in mind when I bought the bike for my son who is racing it we had a powroll piston with a fast 50's cam, carb and head porting. I swore up and down that it was fast then and that F50's was the best company out there. A year later and I'm eating my words.

All I know is that there are a ton of 50 companies out there and from the looks of it, what's new and great now sucks within a matter of months. I doubt any motor any company built a few years ago would be that fast by todays standards.

When I first talked with PRC I was leary from what I read on here. Then they told me how their big motors compete with the super expensive ones. I kinda brushed that off. We're on a budget so whatever. But I took a look at their site and saw a guy riding a bike with one of their motors in it competiting with guy cooper on a dohc motor. So there must be some truth to it.

I'm happy with what I purchased and the results we're getting. I'm also sure most of us have had some bad experiences with companies along the way. I know I have.
