This is why you don't air your nearly stock ssr 30 feet landing in the flats all day. Yea you guessed it he's knarly. haha

Any one know where he can get a cheap chromo frame? He is looking at getting the staggs frame on the tbolt website. anyone riding this one right now?

thanks

The shock is waaaay better than the stock one. I weigh 155 lbs and I couldn't get the thing to bottom out. The spring was on the heavy side for me but my bro is running one and he loves it, he weighs 175. The staggs shock is a huge improvement over stock, With the stocker i would bounce for about the next 10 feet after hitting a substantial bump. You may note that the angle of the swinger on my bike is steeper than stock due to the longer eye-to-eye length of the shock. If you are ready to step your game up from stock then this i a good way to get your setup headed in the right direction.

If you have any other questions about the shock let me know.

i wonder what the differences are? that looks like my bike minus the works. i replaced my shock with a staggs. when i first put it on, my bike looked choppered out. i measured my stocker to find it is 10.75" eye to eye. so i dropped my forks .25". but yours looks like a monster truck.

Maybe the length of the forks are different or the head tube angles could be slightly differnet. My bike is also on the ground which could also make them look a little different. How do you like the forks? I am thinking about investing in some because I bottom the crap out of mine at the track.

i would think that my bike on the stand would make it appear to be higher since my shock is fully extended. as for the forks, i've changed the oil(20w) and have a 125ml in each leg. for my style, they're still a little stiff. which is better than when i first got them. they felt like a rigid fork. i have yet to bottom them. if my calculation and zip tie are correct, i have about an inch of unused travel. i'm going to soften them up a bit more.
