Yo, so i rode a wheelie into my fence today. All i did was crack the little plastic tab that connects the shroud onto the gas tank. Its a small little piece that broke off so now its loose. ANYWAY. I was wonderin if superglue would melt the plastic? Is it too strong and will it make the plastic melt?

it didn't melt my 30 dollar P.O.S. plastic from ebay.....so if you have honda stuff I don't think it would.......but don't take my word for it b/c my plastic is really brittle and hard and not as soft and flexible as honda stuff

I suggest if you haven't cut the ugly thing of the top of your front number plate then cut it off to make you number plate a rectangle and test it on that......or test it on a old piece if you have any... GOODLUCK!

Super glue did not eat mine either... but mine are cheap as well. The super glue was not strong enough to hold the pieces of my plastics together since i broke them in a high stress area. To fix my plastics I kinda ghetto rigged them but they look pretty good. I took some heavier duty staples out of a staple gun and heated them up red hot over the stove. (I had already glued the two pieces of the plastics in place where i wanted them) Once the staple is glowing i pierce it through the plastic, let it cool and bend the legs to keep it in place. so far this is how My plastics are being held together and it is working pretty well. I crash about once a day and with graphics on my plastics they need to last longer than one week. good luck!

thanks all. i have like a glass bottle with a brush for my super glue. I guess when it gets hard it turns more into a rubber-cement type of stuff. Im going to try it tomorrow. If it doesnt work im gonna melt the two little pieces together and see if they stick :)

or... you could drill it, and put zipties in it. Ghetto but quick. lol.
