Tb clutch, billet housing and billet cover plate. Issues is i took apart the cast basic tb clutch to build this billet one before install and no dice. Billen housing is way to small to take the hub. Ive tried every way possible. Maybe someone can explain this to me? Certainly not going to use this on the press to smash it? So what the **** is going on? Clearly much tighter than the original cast basket, clearance isnt nearly enough to take the tb clutch hub so what the hell do i do? Tb wont respond. 550 canadian in the hole. this garbage came in today in the mail straight from tboltusa!

hey look this junk tb basket works

But not the billet one i paid twice the money for?
Seems to be the typical tb game. What does everyone else think? Am i stupid and missing something?

Hi
At times any performance upgrade product can be machined slightly off due to production tolerance issues
These parts are made in Taiwan as everyone on PM knows
We have been selling them since 2005 with excellent results and very very few issues
Everyone on PM and the internet for that matter knows we will help you and get things correct

Hello ?

You can contact us at hondatb@aol.com and we always respond promptly. I think you may have purchased from Tboltusa.com and not from us as we dont sell to Canada directly. They usually respond quickly too - when did you email them? We did NOT receive an email from you.

Regarding the billet baskets, they do not cost $550 Canadian - not even close. They sell for $125 here in the US. The anodizing process can increase the thickness slightly and occasionally make them tight. If this happens we can simply hone and return and cover shipping. Tboltusa.com probably would do the same but since we didn't sell to you, we don't have any info on your order.

What games are being played here? You say you got it today and TBolt has not responded - did you give them any time? Vince there is usually on top of things but also was out all last weekend at a race so probably busy catching up on things after being gone.

Thank you,

Mike

In reponse to my own post. I honestly believe, in the fluke event you got something from tb that was not right, they would make it so to the best of their ability. My Sincerest apologies to the guys at tb, tbolt usa. And any other poor guy trying to get a quality clutch for his bike that may have been discouraged by this post.

Wow. I have used hundreds of TB engine parts and have never had even one issue. You sound like you got issues man. How can you really say that this is typical? What other issues have you had with them. You act like all there stuff is a problem. I'll bet you're a minion for mini mob. Do TB a favor and don't buy from them with that attitude you have.

yep thanks.

I order one a few months back and had the same issue. I contact them and sent it back and they sent me a new one back and verified it fit before sending. It does suck having to tear the side of your motor off to swap the basket to find it not fitting but Tbolt took care of the issue and got me straighten out. Like they said they do have some tolerance window and maybe a few randomly fall on the side of issue but they corrected it. The new basket I got look to be milled on the inside after anodizing to give it correct space needed also.

TB Parts does not sell DIRECTLY to the end user in Canada because we are their Canadian Distributor. We have been selling their parts for 12 years now in Canada - you should have contacted us and you could have saved yourself some of the extra costs.
We have been offered to sell other brands in Canada but we've had zero complaints with the TB Parts brand - they are a great company to deal with and they make really good quality parts.
