As most of you know i built a motard (blue, pic in sig.) i still have the stock forks with +1's and disk. I want new forks, what are beter inverted (lt6's) or the other type (sp5). I have heard sp5 stlye is beter, what is the best NOT IMPORT fork for motarding? I am thinking lt6's but they are a little pricy. I like blue or silver, but that is not most important. Most important is the fork! I need a good soft, not springy fork! What do you guys like and suggest? I have a +2 swingram in the back. Oh, i also want a disk brake, for the front!

Any other comments or suggestions on this or any other relevent topic?

Thanks Guys

The Inverted forks work better for 50 motard , especially if your on the larger side ... They flex less than the conventionals (SP5s) ...

I would probably say the Speed Forks. a little cheaper then lt6's, come with a disc brake, or can get them with a disc brake, and would probably perform perfect for what you want them for. what did u want to know about the speed forks

I suggest the blue sano 4 inch forks! Mx527 is selling a set right now on ebay! With complete front wheel and disc brakes. It also will come with a frame and swingarm. Maybe you can PM him an offer on just the forks and Im sure he will take them off ebay. I have the same forks and they are awesome! I use em' for dirt, but I think they will work well for motard aswell.

I think whichever inverted fork you can afford will work great ... My answer is always going to be Stratos first ... Even Matt , who was a Marzocchi guy forever, finally understands now how well the Stratos actually work ... They are super light and the brakes are untouchable ...

5hoe on the board here runs the speed forks and hes very fast and his bike seems to handle very well... so depending on your budget make your choice ... Although I dont have experience with them , Im sure the Sano forks will work great as well ..

well i havent riden on them properley yet....Coz i got injured.

BUT,the forks look great, they are quite plush. They are suprisingly plush, there not as plush as Marzocchis but still quite good.

Rebound is good with 10wt oil in them for MX/dirt jumping. But if you want to slow the rebound down more, just use heaver oil weight.

The disc brake setup is top notch, they are AWESOME!.

I wish i could tell you more details,but i cant ride!!!...sorry!.

i just bought the LT6 kit.

for $950 you cant beat the kit. forks, clamps, hub, hydraulic disc brake kit, and HD 10"spokes.

i don thave them on the bike yet, and wont be riding it for another 2 weeks or so until my motor is back together..... ill be sure to post a review!

That is a pricey for a non-oil bathed fork.

well if you look at it that way it is.

but when you add up others, they want $300 for a hyd brake kit, $250 for clamps, $60 for spokes.........

if you factor is all that stuff the forks are somewhat cheap.
