Hi all...im doing a relatively custom setup using fastace forks with the 51mm bolt pattern (exact shiver copies) FAST ACE AKX01RC FORKS 650MM

anyone tell me what brake caliper they are using (and what bike it may have come from) and the diameter of the disc you have? I am going to be using this on a honda ct70 and need to figure the correct setup.

The EBC sintered pads for my SR160 with the GP forks (same 51 mm bolt pattern Zoke copies as Fast Ace) are from a 1985-1987 Honda CMX250C Rebel, so maybe it's he same caliper? I'd be interested to know if any others are a direct bolt on. The stock disc is 220 mm.

This will be my last resort. I don't need the reservior or line, just a caliper and they won't sell it separete. Also, I would prefer a non-chinese item if I can get it...like a nissin or tokiko. I saw someone convert an kx65 caliper over and it looked pretty good. It is not a mount and go operation though.

you can run kx65 or cr85 caliper if you get a mount from gary at str racing...

I made a brembo off of a ktm 525 front work on a prior set of china forks I had, now I also have shivers and I plan to get the brembo back on there. I also picked up a galfer 200mm rotor to go along with it. I am with you, I don't want china brakes

GSX600 89-94(gsx not gsxr) rear rotor has the 4x100 bolt pattern and a 255mm disc, this is a galfer rotor I got on ebay for 10 bucks used

Used a rpm ruckus radial caliper but just make your own bracket for any caliper, really it's easy. I used a piece of angle iron and a drill and taps to make my bracket

well, the disc I need is a monkey disc so that doesn't matter so much...but i am pretty sure I can adapt any caliper...just need to figure out the best option with least work. I like the radial setup you did. How thick is the angle you used? I'd think you'd want 3/16" thick minimum right?

1/4 so I could make solid tapped holes
