Wiring Diagram Monkey R/RT

Hi,

My name is albert and I live in Germany. Since two weeks I own a japanese Monkey R. Beside the engine (Honda Nice with big bore cylinder -> 122ccm, 24mm Keihin carburator, Kitaco exhaust) everything is original.

Beside the Monkey R, I also own a 1995 Honda Monkey (Finland Model) and a 1982 Honda Gorilla.

Pictures of the bikes I will ad later :eek:)


Actually I am faceing an electrical problem and therefore I am desperately looking for a copy of the specific Monkey R/RT wiring diagram.

Could anybody of you provide me this? I would not mind, even if it is only available in Japanese language (but would prefer an English version ;o) )

Where are you Tmas?? Todd knows EVERYTHING!! Standby, sure he'll reach out shortly. Nice bike! Wondering if the wiring is much different than the US ZB?? I'm pretty sure there's a diagram in my factory service manual if that would help. What kid of exhaust do you have - doesn't look familiar.

The Monkey R/RT electric seems quite specific, because there is no "real" battery (only a 2V auxilliary battery). Electric is not my favorite thing, so therefore I need the diagram to find my way through.
Concerning the exhaust, I am not sure wich exact Kitaco model it is. It could also be possible, that it is a mix of two different exhausts. Fact is, the rear muffler has the Kitaco logo and writing on it. I bought the "R" in the current condition and actually I am doing some final adjustments (carburator setting, electric etc). Everything on the bike has been done by the previous owner, who has only used it only for less than 50km after putting a lot of money in it.

Hi Tmas,
the parts list I already have, but is no big help for my problem. I need a typical wiring diagram, on which I can see what cable is going where (inclunding the color scheme). I would be very happy, if you would find the right diagram in your archive :wave: .

Long time that I have not been here. Meanwhile I found the wiring diagram for the Monkey-R. In the meantime I got a second Monkey-R (this time a black one), which I am currently getting back into shape.

The only part that is missing at the moment is the original manifold. If someone of you may have this part for sale (no longer available from honda), please get into contact with me.
