Been looking to put after market air filter and exhaust on my 110 I have always liked yoshi but I have read some post saying there only for big bores... maybe a little input to steer me in the right direction
Pro circuit is goodBeen looking to put after market air filter and exhaust on my 110 I have always liked yoshi but I have read some post saying there only for big bores... maybe a little input to steer me in the right direction
There are 2 different bbr pipes for the 110, one has a bigger diameter pipeBbr says big bore kit as well. I have a yoshi rs-2 on sons stock bike. It runs fine. Didn't have to jet. The pro circuit is a really nice pipe as well. I however hate the design of the two bros. a hardened header mounted to an aluminum can is a disaster. Just my opinion tho. The first two I mentioned sound really good!!!
In my opinion the yoshi is more of a tone down pipe for sound by far. I personally love the sound of the pc myself. I just sold mine 4 hours ago due to the fact it wouldn't fit in a v2 frame. Naturally any pipe u get will be louder than stk. Instead of getting a loud pipe do a bbk. That's more power than a pipe and a lot cheaper. You don't have to have a huge header. He'll just drill out the hole at the inlet of the head pipe. You would have a sleeper then. No one would know. Just my 2 cents broQuick question for Domangue418, Which pipe you find to be more quiet? I'm looking for a pipe for my sons 08 KLX110 but trying to keep the uptight neighbors from getting more uptight....the bike is completely stock right now and the quiet pipe is great but would like to get a little more out of for when he hoops it up with his friends that do not live in the 'hood that have a little more modification that has taken place.
Thanks,
I have a BBR D2 (Small bore) on the classifieds page. Pipe comes with the silencer that costs another 100 bucks. I ran this pipe with a stock motor and a U flow on an L. I had to go bigger on the main jet (from an 88 to a 105). It ran and sounded great. When I needed to run the silencer it had zero effect on power output of stock motor. Now my motor is modified much more heavily and looking to try a Yoshi RS2.Been looking to put after market air filter and exhaust on my 110 I have always liked yoshi but I have read some post saying there only for big bores... maybe a little input to steer me in the right direction
