The motor is new / less than 100 miles on it anyway
The semi-auto clutch absolutely will not adjust correctly, been that way since day one
No matter what you do it wants to pull when you are in any gear so you have to hold the brake on
It sucks.
HELP, please

Other than calling tb, what are the rpms?
Are they low? I'm just saying incase maybe it's higher than normal and causing it to grab.
I've never adjusted a semi auto clutch

You need to run the HD auto clutch a while till it breaks in
Documented info from many PM guys and we have done the same thing on our SSR TR 141cc and 114cc semi bikes

How many miles does it take to break it in?
100 miles seems decent

Thanks TB, I can at least hope that will be the case.
Over 100 miles now and nearly all of those / 85% / have been around town in stop and go traffic
and so far it still wants to grab regardless of how low the engines rpm's are.

How does this engine feel over all?
Is it in a pit dirt bike or a street bike?

idle at 1.400 rpms and i can take it down to down to 1,100 if i wanted to / so long as it's not in gear obviously
TBolt has stated that the clutch needs to be broken in but at this point,,,,,,.Over 1.000 miles it's still one grabby SOB / it simply will not adjust properly
Tomorrow I'm thinking about hoisting the bike up hanging in the air, adjusting the rear brake full on and setting the idle up to 2,500. Run it for a minute and see if its any better, if not go for two or three minutes and see how it acts after that and if none of this helps i guess I'll take it apart and deal with it internally

Do you think the size of the sprocket at the transfer shaft has anything to do with why clutch stays "GRABBY". Has motor been in any other frame that doesn't have that transfer shaft.
I like your choice of motor, I'm going to order one for my next "73" ATC 70 build.

We will have more 125cc base engines by FEB
OK, Thanks. Let me know when you get one Built for me. You have my E-mail address from last week.

No the 141 went straight in to my motoped practically the day it was delivered, that is as soon as i had the time to yank the clutched 155z motor out of it.
Initially i was not to happy with the performance of the works 141 but when i upgraded the exhaust system ( the stock motoped exhaust is just too small )
The motor really came to life. I highly recommend this motor to anyone who is looking for a semi-auto power plant, it just sucks right now that i have to down shift to neutral at stoplights but i will get to the bottom of this problem eventually

Any new news on the semi auto clutch.
