BBR CRF150F ReBuild

Bottom-end rebuild is done! Top-end work is done. Engine is ready for reassembly and reinstallation, but bad luck stopped by to pay me a visit.

My cylinder was damaged during shipping. StorminNorman has already started the process of boring another cylinder to replace the damaged one.


Despite that set-back, StorminNorman looks like he hit a home run on the head mods! =]

Looks like I'm back on the build!

My new cylinder showed up, this should be (and hopefully is) the last missing piece that I need to wrap this rebuild up!

Gotta clay the piston for StorminNorman then reassembly should be all that I lack!

Everything is finally done! I went through a break-in process, then headed straight to Graham AX. The bike runs great... Good enough to go 1-1 in the 125/250 Beg class (but not good enough to win the PitBike class! LOL). StorminNorman's head mods definitely help transfer the power to the ground. IMO, the 150F isn't a powerhouse, even with the BBR 175cc bore kit and cam! If you want good power from this motor, get in the head! My suspension build, done by Enzo, is amazing. I'm not sure what he did, beyond replacing the springs/shock, but he made it work incredibly well. Here's a couple pics of it.
